SUMMER OPENING
The Classic Boat Museum on the Quay at Newport Harbour in the Isle of Wight is open daily throughout the season from the end of March to the end of October, 10 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. The approach for cars to the Museum is off the Newport/Ryde road, the A3020, at the Seaclose traffic lights, following the brown sign, For pedestrians from the town it is a pleasant stroll along the eastern side of the river. Car and coach parking at the door. There is also a riverside walk from the Folly Inn at Whippingham for those with yachts moored there, or from Island Harbour. Newport Harbour is accessible 2 hours before and after high water and pontoons are only a few paces away from the Museum's entrance.

Special opening times can be pre-arranged for group visits. Contact Us for details.

The Museum is run entirely by friendly volunteers who will welcome you. There is a café, a gift shop and new & second- hand maritime books are on sale.

There is full disabled access, including toilet facilities. All exhibits are on one ground floor level.
Work on boats in our restoration shed next to the Museum is fascinating.

The neighbouring Classic Bus Museum is often open during the season.
